Responsible for promptly answering and transferring calls to their proper extensions, as well as making, changing and/or cancelling reservations.
MUST be able to work Evenings and Weekends. Previous hotel experience a plus.

Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls within 3 rings.
- Always respond with “My Pleasure”.
- Answer incoming calls in a polite manner and direct the call to the proper extension.
- Listen to callers to understand inquiries and requests.
- Answer, screen and properly route all calls.
- Maintain the banquet lead sheet as directed daily.
- Maintain daily knowledge of hotel rates and specials.
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition required.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- This is predominantly an office position, requiring individuals to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach above shoulders, kneel, twist, and grip items.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to respond to visual and auditory cues (telephone, radio)
